Herbalife, proud Official Nutrition Sponsor of FC Barcelona, held a special event for underprivileged children to meet with FC Barcelona and Leo Messi during their visit to Korea for a friendly match against the K-League All-Star soccer team on August 4.
This "meet-and-greet with Messi" was aimed to encourage the children to follow their dreams, as part of Herbalife’s community outreach through Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) and its Casa Herbalife program, which helps to provide healthy nutrition to children in need.
Approximately 50 children from Child Fund and Sang Rok Won, two Casa Herbalife programs in Seoul, Korea, were invited to the event. The children, ages 8 to 14, had the opportunity to ask the soccer star various questions about his life and accomplishments. Messi answered their questions, taught the children how to shoot like pros, presented gifts and signed autographs.
